Italian: Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A classic simple pasta dish from Italy.

Ingredients:

  • 200g spaghetti

  • 4 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp chili flakes

  • Salt

  • Fresh parsley (optional)

  • Grated parmesan (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente.

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sautรฉ garlic until lightly golden.

  3. Add chili flakes.

  4. Toss cooked pasta into the pan with a little pasta water.

  5. Mix well, garnish with parsley and parmesan.

  6. Serve hot!
