Classic Meatloaf Recpie

 🥩 Classic Meatloaf

A staple of American home cooking since the early 20th century, especially popular across the Midwest.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup milk

  • ⅓ cup ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

Glaze:

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp mustard


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently (don’t overwork).

  3. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish or loaf pan.

  4. Make glaze: Stir together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread over the top.

  5. Bake for 55–70 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  6. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Ingredients:

  • 250g chicken (boneless)

  • 1 cup tomato puree

  • ½ cup cream

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Sauté chicken in butter until lightly browned.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree.

  3. Cook 5–7 minutes, add spices and salt.

  4. Stir in cream and simmer until thick.

  5. Serve with naan or rice.

Chinese Recipe: Chicken Manchurian

A popular Indo-Chinese favorite inspired by China flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 250g boneless chicken (small cubes)

  • 2 tbsp cornflour

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp chili sauce

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 small onion (chopped)

  • 1 capsicum (chopped)

Instructions:

  1. Mix chicken with egg, cornflour, salt. Fry until crispy.

  2. In another pan sauté ginger-garlic, onion & capsicum.

  3. Add soy sauce, chili sauce, little water.

  4. Add fried chicken and toss well.

  5. Cook 2–3 minutes and serve with fried rice.
