🍔 Classic American Cheeseburger
A true American favorite—juicy, cheesy, and full of flavor!
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

1 lb (450g) ground beef (80% lean)

Salt and black pepper

4 burger buns

4 slices cheddar cheese
-
Lettuce leaves

1 tomato (sliced)

Pickles (optional)

Ketchup and mustard

1 tablespoon butter or oil
👩🍳 Instructions

Make the patties
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal parts. Shape into round patties (slightly larger than the buns). Season both sides with salt and pepper. -
Cook the burgers
Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 3–4 minutes per side. -
Add cheese
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover briefly so the cheese melts. -
Toast the buns
Lightly butter the buns and toast them in the pan until golden. -
Assemble the burger
Bottom bun → patty with melted cheese → lettuce → tomato → pickles → ketchup/mustard → top bun.
